The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Review

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Ö one embargo to bind them.

As someone who has read the book (and some of the reviews) I was slightly worried when I bought my ticket to see ‘The Hobbit Part 1’ thankfully my worries were for nothing.

The film is a great tour through Middle Earth reacquainting us with the world of Men, Dwarfs, Elves and of course Hobbits.

It is scattered with references to the Lord Of The  Rings which fans will enjoy.

I never thought I would say this but Gollum was my favourite character in this film! It looks like Peter Jackson and (more importantly) Andy Serkis had fun with the character with some genuinely funny moments.

This film is largely introducing several Dwarfs and setting the scene for the films to come but is still worth a watch!

(I saw the film in 3D which I would also recommend)
